The site: Nanniesandsitters.com.au is Australias Newest online babysitter directory! We pride ourselves on helping parents find the perfect nanny or babysitter for their families' needs. We are the most affordable and efficient way for parents and sitters to meet each other. The site is based on our values of respect, honesty, integrity, transparency, innovation, excellence, reliability & responsiveness.
The company: Sindwell Pty Ltd, the parent company and owner of the N&S site was started by Alena Atwell and her family. They live in Melbourne and Alena recognised a real need for access to a great list of quality carers. Nanniesandsitters.com.au's aim is for all parents to develop wonderful networks of babysitters/nannies and achieve a healthy work-life balance!
The carers: All of the babysitters and nannies on the site are aged 18 and over and provide a very detailed profile online. They are asked to have a police check and references available for parents to see. Babysitters come with a range of skills and experience. Many are students of Early Childhood Education, Teaching and Allied Health courses, from reputable universities. Others are professional nannies with years of experience.
The kids: We believe in being socially responsible and support a range of causes in the community. In 2005 we began our sponsorship of a child through World Vision and in 2009 we aim to start sponsoring Kidsafe. |
